Stein Creek Farm German Shorthairs was created in 2003, with our first German Shorthair purchase of Stein Creeks Miss Pepper. Our special story is that of a father and son falling in love with pheasant hunting. We started out our pheasant hunting days with our old farm dog that showed little production, as one can imagine! After hunting behind the German Shorthair, we found a new interest to go along with our bird hunting. With the addition of TJ's Nitro, the foundation of a breeding program was formed. Over the years our interest in our dogs and pheasant hunting has grown to the point where we would like to share our story with all of you in hopes that you find the same love we have here at Stein Creek Farm, hunting behind a Stein Creek Shorthair.
Here at Stein Creek Farm ,we are dedicated to breeding and producing quality birddogs that have the natural hunting abilities that the German Shorthair is known for. Our dogs are OFA certified. We generally breed one or two litters per year. To check for litter anouncements click here. We take great pride in guarenteeing the health and the soundness of our puppies. Our intent is to place our puppies in quality homes where their hunting skills or their companionship is needed. Steincreek Blitzkrieg (SOLD)
Blitz is a dog that has by far met our expectations. He is the son of Nitro and Pepper. He is a started dog that is ready for any inspiring foot hunter. He points, marks, retrieves, and is steady to wing and shot. In the field this dog does it all and can even come home and be a great companion for any family. Blitz is the perfect dog for anyone wanting a hunting dog, but doesn't have the time to start a new pup. Blitz is sold he will be making a new home in New Jersey.
